01Spurbets App Overview

The Spurbets app is the Android version of the Spurbets casino and sportsbook. It comes as an APK file from spurbets.com. iPhone users open the mobile website in Safari, and it has the same sections.

Both versions connect to one account. Your balance, bonuses and bet history stay the same on every device.

On the mobile screens I checked, the layout follows the desktop site. The background is dark navy, the Login and Register buttons sit in the top right corner, and promotion banners run across the full width of the screen.

02Spurbets APK Download for Android

You download the Spurbets app as an APK file through the Download App button on spurbets.com. An APK (Android Package Kit) is the installation file for Android apps outside Google Play.

The process has three stages: download the file, allow the installation and install the app. Each stage is described below.

APK File From the Official Website Only

Download the Spurbets APK only from spurbets.com. The Download App button is in the site menu. On the desktop site, I found it at the bottom of the left menu, under the language selector. It shows a hand holding a phone with game icons.

1. Open spurbets.com in Chrome on your Android phone.
2. Open the side menu.
3. Tap Download App.
4. Confirm the download if Chrome asks.

Files shared in chat groups or on other websites can be changed. The official file keeps your login details and your M-Pesa number safe.

Unknown Sources Permission

Android asks for permission before it installs an app from outside Google Play. This setting is called "Install unknown apps". You give the permission to the browser that downloaded the APK.

You can turn the permission off after installation. The Spurbets app keeps working.

APK Installation Steps on an Android Phone

After you allow the permission, the installation takes a few seconds.

1. Open the downloaded Spurbets APK.
2. Tap Install.
3. Wait for the "App installed" message.
4. Tap Open, or find the Spurbets icon on your home screen.

Android may show a Google Play Protect notice, because the app comes from outside Google Play. If you downloaded the file from spurbets.com, continue with the installation.

03Spurbets Access on iPhone

Spurbets has no iOS app. iPhone users play on the mobile website in Safari. It has the same games, promotions and M-Pesa wallet as the Android app.

Two Safari tools make access faster: a bookmark and a home screen shortcut. The shortcut gives you an icon that looks like an app.

Safari Bookmark for Quick Access

A Safari bookmark saves spurbets.com in your bookmarks list.

1. Open spurbets.com in Safari.
2. Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select Add Bookmark.
4. Tap Save.

The bookmark appears in the Safari bookmarks menu. It also shows on the start page when you open a new tab.

Home Screen Shortcut Setup on iOS

A home screen shortcut puts a Spurbets icon next to your other apps.

1. Open spurbets.com in Safari.
2. Tap the Share icon.
3. Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen.
4. Keep the name Spurbets and tap Add.

The icon opens the site in one tap. The website updates on its own, so you never need to install a new version.

04Account Entry Inside the Spurbets App

The Spurbets app uses the same account as the website. Existing players log in with their phone number and password. New players register directly in the app.

The Login and Register buttons sit in the top right corner of the screen. Register is green.

Registration With a Phone Number

To register in the app, tap Register and fill in the "Create your account" form. It asks for a phone number, a password and an age confirmation.

1. Tap the green Register button.
2. Enter your M-Pesa number in the format 0700 000 000.
3. Create a password and repeat it in Confirm Password.
4. Tick the box confirming you are 18+ and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
5. Tap Play now.

The eye icons in the password fields let you check both entries before you tap Play now. After sign-up, the KSh 20 Welcome Stake appears in your balance.

Login With a Phone Number and Password

To log in, tap Login and enter your registered phone number and password. Then tap Play now.

If you forget your password, tap Forgot Password. The reset works through your registered phone number.

05Spurbets App Sections and Features

The Spurbets app gives you the full casino, the sportsbook, the M-Pesa wallet and all promotions. The side menu lists every section.

Crash Games and Aviator in the App

Crash games fill the whole Top 6 games in Kenya list on the Spurbets homepage. In a crash game, you place a bet, watch a multiplier grow and cash out before the round ends.

Aviator by Spribe has an RTP of 97%. RTP (return to player) is the share of all bets that a game pays back over a long period. The crash lobby also includes Avi, Aero, Crash 3DX, AviaBET, Blast and Crash Witch.

Slots and Live Casino in the App

The slots lobby features Pragmatic Play titles and seasonal editions. The live casino streams card and wheel games with real dealers.

Live tables stream video. On a phone, Wi-Fi or 4G gives the smoothest picture.

Sportsbook and Live Betting in the App

The app sportsbook covers football, basketball, tennis, ice hockey, volleyball and boxing. A row of round sport icons runs across the top of the screen.

Featured matches appear in a card with large odds buttons. One example was Arsenal vs Leeds United with 1X2 odds of 1.38, 4.99 and 8.04. A KSh 100 bet on Arsenal at 1.38 returns KSh 138. In the Live tab, each match shows the clock, the score and a green counter of extra markets, such as +8 or +15.

Promotions and Daily Freebets in the App

All Spurbets promotions work in the app. They appear as cards on the Promotions page, each with a green Read More button.

A freebet is a bet you place without using your balance. The daily Aviator freebets are unwagered, so you can withdraw their winnings without betting them again.

06M-Pesa Payments Through the Spurbets App

All payments in the Spurbets app go through Safaricom M-Pesa. The wallet has three tabs: Deposit, Withdraw and Redeem.

On both payment tabs, the Safaricom M-Pesa logo is already selected in a green frame. The Redeem tab is for voucher and promo codes.

Deposit From the App Wallet

To deposit, open the Deposit tab, enter an amount and confirm the payment with your M-Pesa PIN. The range is KES 100 to KES 150,000 per transaction.

1. Open the wallet and stay on Deposit.
2. Enter an amount, or use the minus and plus buttons.
3. You can also tap a quick tile: KES 100, 200, 250, 300 or 500.
4. Tap the green DEPOSIT button.
5. Confirm the M-Pesa prompt with your PIN.

The Deposit History link under the button shows every payment. Deposits also count toward the 10% daily cashback.

Withdrawal to a Registered M-Pesa Number

Withdrawals from the app go to the M-Pesa number registered on your account. The minimum is KES 100, shown in red above the amount field.

Your available balance appears under these buttons. Tap WITHDRAW to send the request. Spurbets processes withdrawals once your account is verified.

07Spurbets App Updates

To update the Spurbets app, download the latest APK from spurbets.com and install it over the current version. On an iPhone, the mobile website updates automatically.

New APK Version Installation

You install a new Spurbets version the same way as the first one.

1. Open spurbets.com and tap Download App.
2. Open the new APK file.
3. Tap Install or Update.
4. Open the app.

You do not need to delete the old version first. Android replaces it during installation.

Account Data After an App Update

An update does not change your account. Your balance, bonuses and history are stored on your Spurbets account, not in the app.

After the update, you may need to log in again. Use your usual phone number and password. Everything will be where you left it.
